Agricultural Operations provides space and services for turf field research projects. Turf plots have (both soil- and sand-based) are established at Riverside and CVARS for many types of research, including differential, putting green and sports field simulation and shade. Services available include: soil preparation, turf establishment, mowing (including putting green mowing), fertilizing, irrigation, pest management, vertical mowing, and aerifying. Services for specialized cultural practices for research are also available.
